Dr Abdul Kdaish – 1978-2021
With great sadness, we announce the loss of one of our General Surgery registrars on Monday 18 January 2021 due to COVID-19.
Dr Abdul Kdaish worked in the Division of General Surgery since August 2014. He was born in Tripoli and graduated from the Arab Medical University in 2004 in Libya.
Abdul leaves behind his wife, Khadija Tareki, and 4 children:
2 girls and 2 boys. The oldest is twelve and the youngest is one and a half.
He was going to travel back home to Libya this month.
Abdul passed his FCS in General Surgery in October 2020. He will be deeply missed by his friends and colleagues in South Africa.
