Survey: The aim of this study is to identify and quantify the training need of General Surgeons in South Africa to help identify priority areas for future training.
You are invited to participate in a survey to Define Humanitarian Surgery, an international Delphi process. We are particularly keen that clinicians from across Africa contribute to this study and we would be very grateful if you could share this study with your members.
Surgical training and practice in South Africa currently face many challenges, both internal and external. Although mentorship and other educational programmes exist, these are not readily available in all local training centres.
